RPM Dance’s ballet program is based on sound ballet principles, and utilizes techniques from Russian (Vaganova), English (Royal Ballet), and Italian (Cecchetti) curriculum. RPM ballet students are trained specifically so they can be versatile in any ballet class they may audition anywhere in the world. RPM ballet students have been invited to many famous ballet programs, including Joffrey Ballet, American Ballet Theater, Nutmeg Conservatory, Kirov ballet, and Bolshoi Ballet. Sound class etiquette is also emphasized, including teamwork, encouraging one’s peers, respecting authority, and strong work ethic. RPM’s creative and combo ballet classes develop age-appropriate fine and gross motor skills, creativity, and the love of movement. Ballet 1 – 4 classes methodically grow ballet dancers in all aspects of ballet technique. Pointe, Variations, Partnering and Guys classes are also offered for the more experienced dancers.
